Your Hosts & the History of the Zirbenhof

1968

Start of Construction

Since 1968, the Zirbenhof has been closely connected to the Pechtl family and the Pitztal valley.

Back then, Franz Pechtl and his family began building the house. For ten years, they worked on it step by step, doing much of the work themselves and without a crane. With a great deal of dedication and craftsmanship, the Zirbenhof was thus built.

1978

Opening

On December 20, 1978, the hotel opened its doors to guests for the first time. From the very beginning, the business was characterized by personal hospitality and a family-like atmosphere.

The Host Family

Much has changed since the early days. What has remained is the warm care, the personal dedication, and the close ties to the region.

The Zirbenhof is a house steeped in history. It has grown over the decades, was built by the family, and is still personally run today.
